"Kennedy Scott has provided Cash Converters in Hemel Hempstead with some excellent candidates and they will always be one of our options when looking to recruit new staff"

Darren Bolino, Senior Store Manager, Cash Converters

We offer the following:

  • Zero-cost recruitment - as a provider of services to over 10,000 unemployed people each year, we have access to a pool of pre-screened candidates able to meet your business needs. We can conduct bespoke selection processes for your organisation, arrange pre-screening, interview and assessment days, and provide transition support for new employees. This includes sourcing training to support new employees, including government-funded programmes.
  • HR advice – we will take the time to get to know your business and how we can help it to grow. This will include advice on HR issues such as best practice in managing staff, and facilitating staff development. As an Investors in People Gold Award employer, we have considerable experience in this field and will also provide access to advice from our HR Consultants, HR Dept.
  • Networking - we provide regular networking opportunities, including breakfast meetings. To be added to our invite list for your region, please email business.development@kennedyscott.co.uk.

Diversity, Inclusion and equal opportunities

Kennedy Scott is a Disability Confident Employer and is aiming for Level 3, ‘Leader’, status in the near future.

Disability Confident is the DWP scheme for employers that replaced the old ‘Two Ticks’ standard and is designed to help businesses recruit and retain disabled people and those with long-term health conditions. There are three levels: ‘Committed’, ‘Employer’ and ‘Leader’.

Being a Disability Confident Employer involves actively looking to attract and recruit disabled people, providing a fully inclusive and accessible recruitment process and demonstrating a flexible approach to the assessment of applicants; once staff are recruited, a Disability Confident Employer supports employees to manage their disabilities, ensures there are no barriers to the development and progression of disabled staff and provides training to all employees as part of creating a culture of being Disability Confident. As a Leader, Kennedy Scott will be promoting the scheme and sharing best practice throughout our supply chain, partner organisations and business networks.

As well as ensuring all job applicants have a fair chance of succeeding and that Kennedy Scott is able to select from the widest pool of talent possible, committing to Disability Confident ensures we are contributing to reducing the UK’s disability employment gap by meeting or exceeding the standard’s criteria, working closely with other Disability Confident organisations, whilst informing our participants of the scheme and increasing their job opportunities.

We fully recommend that you acquire Disability Confident status if you have not already. Please email edi@kennedyscott.co.uk if you require any additional information on our experience.
