Work Choice
The Work Choice programme is designed to provide a tailored employment service to support individuals who are out of work for reasons such as ill health, a disability or due to social circumstances.
The programme begins with an initial appointment and assessment and an advisor will be allocated to support clients; the outcome will then lead the client to the appropriate modules which are:
Module 1 | Ready For Work
This involves foundation training and will cover areas such as job search and all aspects of employability skills, sector specific training, Literacy, Numeracy and IT development and confidence and motivation training.
Module 2 | Ready For Independence
Development and support activities will include a job confirmation meeting, induction within the workplace, employment terms and conditions and health and safety awareness.
Module 3 | Ready For Lifelong Choices
This module includes strategies to unsupported employment, overcoming personal and job related barriers, equality, diversity and health and safety awareness
For ways of arranging an initial appointment you will need to contact your Disability Employment Advisor at the Jobcentre or contact your local Kennedy Scott office for more information.
Kennedy Scott are working in partnership with Shaw Trust to deliver the Work Choice programme.
