Kennedy Scott are celebrating our 30th Anniversary

On Wednesday 4th September, Kennedy Scott officially celebrated a landmark 30th birthday, after dedicating three decades to employability support, helping those most vulnerable in society.

Kennedy Scott was founded by Teresa Scott in 1989, with the aim of supporting people to achieve their potential and progress in their careers and lives. This mission remains central to the organisation and everyone who works for us, which is why 30 years later we are still supporting the most disadvantaged in society. It has been a long journey from starting our first contract to running a national contract for the DWP, helping people with disabilities and health conditions find employment and securing their future. Along the way we have managed to help over 50,000 people, which we think is an amazing achievement coming from such small beginnings.

We will be holding events across all our offices in October and November and will be receiving visits from MP’s and other dignitaries.

Teresa Scott OBE, CEO of Kennedy Scott said: "It’s wonderful that I started a company with some friends back in 1989 and now I am celebrating the company’s 30th Anniversary. It has been an interesting journey and a roller coaster at times, as with any business, but when running a company you have to take the ups with the downs and I am delighted we are here and as strong as ever. We have had a remarkable 30 years and have managed to help so many people, this company couldn’t have done it without some of the amazing staff we have had over the years and the amazing customers we help each and every day, which makes it all worth it. I am delighted that we have so many fantastic people coming to our offices to help celebrate with us. Happy birthday Kennedy Scott."
