Harrow customers are on track to employment

Over the past 6 weeks, 13 customers at Kennedy Scott in Harrow have been taking part in a Personal Track Safety course. The PTS course is a system of safer working practices designed to ensure the safety of railway workers in the UK.

As part of the course, the customers have spent time both in the classroom and out on the tracks at Harrow-on-the-Hill station. They have also had the opportunity to meet with local employers and each customer has had a guaranteed job interview.

Upon completing the course, each customer has been awarded a Level 1 diploma in Work Skills and a Sentinel Card, which is a requirement when working anywhere within the boundaries of Network Rail tracks.

The customers have all enjoyed their time on the course and are looking forward to starting employment on the railways.
