Hemel Hempstead Cabinet Office Visit

On the 17th October Hugh Stickland, Senior Policy Adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister visited our Hemel Hempstead Centre with two advisers.
The purpose of the visit was to investigate the effectiveness of the Youth Incentive Scheme, and we invited a representative from one of our local employers, Bourne Leisure, who gave a comprehensive employer perspective. There was an in-depth discussion held about the Youth Incentive Scheme, how successful we were finding this and whether or not it was helping to get a ‘foot in the door’ with employers.
The visitors observed an Interview Training session conducted by one of our Employment Consultants, and took some time to speak to one of our self-employed clients. He was growing his mobile mechanics business with the support of Kennedy Scott.
The team from the Cabinet Office seemed to feel more informed once the discussions had taken place, and the visit proved to be a great success due to the hard work from the team at our Hemel Hempstead centre.
