Kennedy Scott Investors in People Recognition Renewed

Kennedy Scott is delighted to announce that we have passed our Investors in People Assessment Review with flying colours.
Belinda Tankel, of Inspiring Business Performance, who implemented the assessment process in accordance with guidelines provided by the United Kingdom Commission for Employment and Skills, observed: “KS has absolutely and completely achieved the (Core Investors in People National Standard) standard”
The report continues: Kennedy Scott has built a “reputation for providing a quality and effective service to participants which enables them to gain sustainable employment.”
The assessment was conducted on 27-28 February 2012, and included interviews with three members of the Senior Management Team, three people managers, and fifteen non-managers. We had to meet thirty-nine stringent criteria to fulfil the Core Standard, and in addition to the core standard, we also asked for feedback in the following areas:
- The Business
- Leadership and Management
- Apprenticeship Scheme
- The Ethos and Culture of the Organisation
Six additional evidence requirements, relating to Leadership and Management, were selected for assessment, all of which we passed.
Kennedy Scott’s apprenticeship scheme won particular praise for “providing an invaluable resource to centres. Apprentices are highly respected and valued by both their managers and teams, and are provided with excellent opportunities for learning and development.”
The KS team have already implemented one of the recommendations. Senior Management have timetabled attendance at company inductions which are now delivered across company delivery centres. This will facilitate greater management visibility across the organisation.
