Overview
Our learning centre at Bedford offers the following courses:
- City and Guilds in Adult Literacy
- City and Guilds in Adult Numeracy
- Functional Skills in English, Maths and Computing
- ITQ Level 1 (Computer Basics, Electronic Communication and Security)
- ITQ Level 2 (Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentation Graphics and Improving Productivity)
- Basic computer skills such as keyboard and mouse techniques using MyGuide
The centre provides a friendly and supportive environment where clients can learn new skills in order to improve their job prospects, gain qualifications or just for personal use.
From computing to skills for life, we can help you build your qualifications and confidence. The courses are open to anyone aged over 16, regardless of whether or not you are in employment.
The centre also offers an impartial information, advice and guidance service providing support with CVs, cover letters, interview techniques and application form completion to aid those looking to find employment.
