Kennedy Scott awarded the Elevate Lone Parents contract

Kennedy Scott have been awarded a new contract to deliver support to single parents in Slough on behalf of Reading Borough Council as part of the wider Elevate Berkshire, which receives funding from the European Social Fund. Elevate Lone Parents goal is to help lone parents aged 18-24 living on their own in Slough or the surrounding area to enter employment, further education or register for further training.

Kennedy Scott have a wealth of experience delivering contracts across the country including our prime DWP contract Specialist Employability Support, which is delivered nationwide. We also deliver Elevate Slough as part of the Elevate Berkshire programme and have seen huge success on this contract which in part contributed to us winning the Elevate lone parents programme.

Elevate Slough delivers an employment and skills programme to unemployed young adults aged 16-24 in slough or the surrounding area. This programme has been running for eight months and has achieved 42% of required programme outcomes and will continue accepting referrals until June 2019. Kennedy Scott are really excited to deliver the new lone parents contract and look forward to reproducing the same fantastic results we have already had on Elevate Slough.

Leah Forsyth the Regional Manager for both Elevate Slough and Elevate Lone Parents said: “I am delighted Kennedy Scott has won the new contract for Elevate Lone Parents, and that we have been given the chance to expand on the great work we are already doing in Slough. Kennedy Scott pride ourselves in the work we do and are looking forward to expanding the customer groups we work with on this new contract by helping lone parents,”

Elevate Lone Parents started delivery in September 2018 and is now taking referrals. For more information on this programme please contact the Elevate team at or on 07951511726.
