Kennedy Scott to host Employability day events!
This Friday Kennedy Scott will be hosting two events to celebrate UK Employability day this year with events being help in Luton and Reading at the same time.
The Luton event will be held at Futures House, The Moakes, Luton, LU3 3QB & our Reading event will be held at 2nd Floor, 30-31 Friar Street, Reading, RG1 1DX. Both events will be help on Friday 29th June from 12 – 2:30, the events are open to the local community and the public and will provide a great opportunity for local businesses and community groups to network. On the day there will be presentations from key parties and previous Kennedy Scott customers who will be telling their story about their journey into work. We are also excited to have the Minster of State for Employment in attendance at our Reading office, and we look forward to showing him what we do, and how the customer is supported in their journey using our innovative Circle of Support©.
Employability Day is an awareness day for the employment support sector and employers that help jobseekers gain and progress in work. It gives organisations such as ours an opportunity to open our doors to local stakeholders, networks and businesses to show what employment support means at the frontline and the impact it is having in the local area.
Leah Forsyth Kennedy Scott’s Central England and Regional Manager for SES, Work Choice & Elevate will be hosting the Luton event. She said: “I’m really looking forward to this event this is a great way to reach out to the public and local groups to show what the employment sector has to offer and how we can work together for greater good of our customers, finding them sustained long term employment”
Teresa Shaw Kennedy Scott’s Contract Manager will be hosting the event in Reading. She said, “Employability day is always a great way of informing everyone about what we do and opening our doors to show what employment support means at the frontline and the impact it is having in the local area.”
Employability day is not just for the employment sector, but also demonstrates how companies within the sector work with other organisations to assist a customer’s journey back into work. This day will all be about openness, and anyone who might wish to attend is welcome to come along and see what Kennedy Scott, and the employment sector as a whole does.
