Kennedy Scott host successful Christmas party in Brighton to help promote Help to Work services
Kennedy Scott held a Christmas party in Brighton on 12th December to help promote the great work the Help to Work programme does in the Coast to Capital area. The party was a great success and everyone celebrated with festive attire, mince pies and nibbles. A raffle was held at the end of the day and prizes were given out to the winners.
Kennedy Scott worked with our Help to Work partners RBLI and Obair to maximise the success of this event. It was a pleasure to also welcome some of our Circle of Support organisations in the areas including Brighton and Worthing Job Centre Plus, YMCA, West Sussex Council, Brighton and Hove Council, Infinity Sutton, Clarendon Housing, The Bridge Community Centre, SPINC and Southdown Housing to name a few.
Kennedy Scott would like to thank their hard working staff who worked tirelessly to make the event a success by inviting local partners and acting as hosts on the day.
Help to Work is a voluntary employment project that gives unemployed and economically inactive adults living in the Coast to Capital LEP area. It provides them with, personalised support to help increase their employability skills, support to gain employment and 6 months in-work support in order to sustain employment. It utilises Kennedy Scott’s Circle of Support© model that includes all the people an individual wants to work with in order to help them achieve their goals. This could be their family and friends, health professionals, housing advisors and other support services.
Julie Eastwood Kennedy Scott Regional Manager for Kent and Sussex said "It was a great event that was well attended and I'm really grateful to everyone who came, and I would like to say thank you to the staff who's hard work made this happen".
