Kennedy Scott delivers new 50+ project in central London

Kennedy Scott has been awarded a new contract to deliver pre-employment training and support to unemployed and economically inactive people aged 50 years and over across Islington, Camden, Westminster and the City of London.

Kennedy Scott has a wealth of experience delivering to this participant group, having previously provided European Social Funded, 50+ programmes in the Home Counties, which saw former customers achieve national Festival of Learning awards which celebrate and recognise Lifelong Learning.

Kennedy Scott successfully secured the contract from G4S to deliver the project across the four boroughs, as part of their European Social Funded Journey 2 Work programme.

Journey 2 Work helps unemployed adults over 50 years of age who are seeking employment to recognise their individual skills and how they can transfer these into the current labour market. The project supports with traditional employment training such as interview skills and practise, CV and cover letter writing, as well as enabling individuals to update their qualifications and gain new skills to help them achieve their employment goals.

The project which went live on 4 September offers participants up to 52 weeks of support.
