Kennedy Scott launches a new mentoring service for unemployed adults in Essex, East Sussex and Kent
Kennedy Scott has launched a new one-to-one mentoring service for unemployed and economically inactive adults living in Essex, East Sussex and Kent.
This is the first time the company will deliver mentoring in its own entity, building upon the day-to-day service they deliver to their customers, using their innovative, trademark Circle of Support© model.
Kennedy Scott successfully secured a contract from Reed in Partnership to deliver the service across the three counties, as part of their ESF funded Work Routes programme.
Work Routes helps unemployed adults find and sustain employment by enabling jobseekers to improve their skills and employability. This mentoring service will support unemployed adults furthest from the labour market, in which Kennedy Scott has a long record of success, and aims to improve confidence, engage members in learning and set clear, achievable goals so they can reach their potential.
Teresa Scott, CEO of Kennedy Scott said: “I am delighted that we are building upon our excellent track record with customers in these three counties, using our innovative CoS© model endorsed by DWP and hailed by our industry as the most innovative and exciting development of recent years.
“Supporting customers is at the heart of our business and to support them in this very personal way towards their employment goal, providing a long term support network to sustain them for the future, is a privilege for our organisation. I wish the programme every success for the coming years”.
Up to five mentoring sessions will be offered to each member on the Work Routes programme over approximately 4-5 months.
