Kennedy Scott Shortlisted for National Award

Kennedy Scott has been named as a finalist in the national ERSA (Employment Related Services Association) 2016 Employability Awards, in the Disability and Health Employment category.

The annual ERSA Employability Awards celebrate and champion the exceptional people and organisations working across the employment support sector to help jobseekers in their journey towards employment. With entrants from charities, private companies, housing associations, social enterprises and local authorities, the awards highlight the very best of employment support in the UK.

The Disability and Health Employment Award recognises an employment services provider who has demonstrated exceptional commitment in supporting jobseekers with disabilities and health conditions to achieve sustained employment. Kennedy Scott has supported over 2,000 people with a disability into work in the last 18 months.

Kirsty McHugh, ERSA’s Chief Executive, said:

“This year’s award submissions demonstrate the extraordinary achievements of individuals and organisations across the sector and our judges had an unenviable task shortlisting the best of the best in each category. Common to every nomination is the passion and commitment they show to supporting employability and transforming lives, communities and businesses. These awards celebrate and champion the best of the work that goes on at the frontline every day in the sector.”

This is the second year Kennedy Scott has been shortlisted for the Disability and Health Employment Category award. Last year, Kennedy Scott customer, Sharne Mulley, received the Significant Achievement Award for her dedication to securing sustainable employment. The same night, Kennedy Scott CEO, Teresa Scott, was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for her 26 year commitment to the employability and skills sector.

The winner with be announced at a London ceremony on the 29 June.
