Kennedy Scott was formed in September 1989 as a subsidiary company of "The Principals" Design and Marketing consultancy.  It was formed by Teresa  Scott, Managing Director and Stephen Sinclair, Director of  "The Principals" group.

The company was initially conceived to offer customised training programmes to both the Public and Private sector and very quickly established a reputation for excellence in both.
In June 1990 the company secured a prestigious contract with the Gleaneagles Hotel, Scotland to design and deliver an innovative Customer Care programme, which was successfully cascaded throughout the hotel.

Subsequent commercial work included management development, customer care and sales training programmes for:

From its inception the company has also concentrated on developing highly effective Job search programmes, essentially as subcontractors for the Department for Work and Pensions.  Past programmes have included an extensive Job Club programme throughout LASER, East and West Midlands districts. Jobsearch Plus, Intensive Gateway to Work, Programme Centres and more recently, SJFT and Gateway.

Kennedy Scott pride themselves in the delivery of all their training programmes and in the individual achievements of their staff.
